FROM THE PRESIDENT

We greet you in the Name and Joy of our Christ.

I am both humbled and honored to be the newly elected President of our Convention.  I stand on the shoulders of all the Presidents that have paved the way for this servant.

I'm honored to be standing in the place of Rev. Elisha W. Green who founded this Convention in July of 1882 at First Baptist Church in Paris, KY.  I feel the pulse and heartbeat of his purpose. I am privileged to follow in his footsteps as Pastor and President of the Churches (First Baptist Church, Paris; Bethel Baptist, Maysville) and the Consolidated Baptist District Educational S/S & B.T.U. Convention.

My prayers are that we would consolidate our efforts concerning Kingdom Building in this present age.  Lord!!!, take us from one degree of grace to another, as we are led by your Holy Spirit; order our steps and guide us into all truth.  May our efforts glorify You, and edify and enlighten your people.  Amen

We are in the process of working on a theme that will embrace and enhance our vision. Continue to pray for the work that is set before us

I'm excited about the vision and direction that our Dean Samuel Peoples has in store for the Convention during our upcoming Institutes; we are in for a spiritual and informative intellectual
treat.  Also, I am excited about the spiritual staff that is in place.  It is yet to be determined what the Lord has in store for us.
